Silas LEWIS was a brother of Doris Daphne. Their sister Ruby Lillian (Ethel May Lavinia Harriet Anne Hilda Maud Gladys) LEWIS married Herbert HEARN in 1905 at Scarsdale, Victoria, Australia. Their eldest son was Herbert (b 1909 Scarsdale, Vic) and their eldest daughter (Lizzie) Elizabeth HEARN (b 1911 Scarsdale, Vic) were in the bridal party as best man and bridesmaid.

Albert Lawson TUNSTALL HARDEN d 5 Feb 1975 NZ (Carolyn Lewis)

The name change from HARDEN to TUNSTALL came about because ... Albert's Uncle Bill TUNSTALL and brother Adam came out to New Zealand in 1911. Bill's wife, Auntie Jane TUNSTALL (ms CARRUTHERS), came out to NZ in 1913 and brought her 10 yr-old nephew Albert HARDEN with her.

It is not clear why he was not sent back but it was presumed that as war had broken out in 1914 it was decided to keep him there. When the war ended Albert did not return to England and did not talk about it with his children.
Albert was enrolled at school as TUNSTALL and was known all his life as 'Tun' or 'Tunnie'. He was employed, paid taxes and bought a house under the TUNSTALL name. In 1964 this was made legal by deed poll in order to be paid the old age pension. Albert's three sons also changed their name to TUNSTALL but it did not matter for his daughter as she was already married, although she had been known as TUNSTALL all her life.
